Overview

What it is

Produces a structured 45-minute session plan with arrival, grounding, core activity, reflection, and close — tuned to the Cabana facilitation style.

When to use it

When prepping a new session theme or adapting an existing one for a new audience.

Who it’s for

Moderators and program designers.

Expected output

A timestamped session outline with prompts, transitions, and contingency notes.

Setup instructions

  1. Open Claude → Skills → New.
  2. Paste session-planning-skill.md.
  3. Attach the Cabana Experience Guide as a reference file.
  4. Save as ‘Session Planning’.

Usage

Good inputs

  • Theme name
  • Audience (size, familiarity, vulnerability level)
  • Any constraints (time, platform, props)

Example prompts

  • Plan a 45-min session on ‘holding boundaries at work’ for 8 returning members.

Expected outputs

  • A timed outline with 5 phases and copy-paste-ready prompts.

Tips & limitations

  • Always specify whether participants are new to Cabana.
  • Ask for alternative grounding exercises if the default feels off.
