What it is
A Claude Skill that walks the finance lead through the monthly close checklist, flags missing items, and drafts variance commentary from a P&L diff against budget.
When to use it
During the monthly close window (typically days 1–5 of the new month).

Finance lead. Restricted visibility — contains pointers to sensitive workflows.
Expected output
A close progress tracker plus a draft variance commentary for board reporting.
Setup instructions
- Open Claude → Skills → New.
- Paste monthly-close.md.
- Attach the close checklist template and the budget file (or a redacted version).
